OUR SERVICES

New & Existing Houses

From painting a new house, to repainting an old. Both interior and exterior. Wallpapering and small plastering jobs, are all part of our specialty. We spray paint roofs and can spray finish doors. We can also chemically strip paint off old weatherboard houses.

Commercial Buildings

From new commercial buildings to repainting existing buildings, we are happy to undertake it all. School work is a forte of our firm. No job is too big or small, please get in touch with us to discuss your next project.

Staining

Looking after timber is one of our talents. Whether it is staining a deck, protecting the cedar on your house, or stripping back timber to its natural beauty. Garage doors, decks and cedar on houses, should be re-stained every eighteen months to two years to look after them.

Brick & Block Sealing (waterproofing)

Oamaru stone block, concrete block, or brick work, will soak in moisture if not sealed. To prevent Oamaru stone block or brickwork from going green or black it is important to make it water proof. We can provide this service to you.

We use a mixture of Resene, Dulux and Valspar products. We like Resene paints for the inside but prefer to use Dulux and Valspar products outside. All paint can be tinted to another company’s colours. Keeping up with new products, technology and methods when they come out is our priority.

ABOUT US

Brady’s Painting & Decorating Ltd is a small family business started in 2004 in Ashburton. Dave was working for a local firm for 7 years before going out on his own. Jenny is a qualified accountant, and does all the book work.

We have a small but dedicated team of 8, of which 5 of these are trade qualified and one is an apprentice. Health and safety is also a priority, and we have just purchased our own edge protection for around roofs to help reduce costs to the client. We cover a wide area of Canterbury.
